Having served as Chair for the Measure S and Measure D oversight committees, Carrie has established a proven track record of maintaining a balanced budget while prioritizing Police and Fire as essential services. She will build on her experience as oversight Chair to keep city spending balanced and accountable safeguarding taxpayer dollars.
Small Businesses
Drawing on her leadership as Chair of the Downey Planning Commission and Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce, Carrie will streamline permitting and elevate customer service at City Hall. Her priority is simple: attract new economic investment while making sure Downey’s small businesses have the support they need to thrive.
